Recently migrated from a G4 iMac to a MacBook. When opening a file, no longer see a preview of paint or drawing document (.cwk files). Only previews available are docs saved in JPEG format. Have tried saving documents under every file type possible. Can take the.cwk document(s) and transfer to the G4, can see the preview when opening. Suggestions appreciated.

Welcome to the AWUG forums

In the AppleWorks preferences > Topic: Files, check Create Custom Icon. This will create a picture icon. This preference is the only one that isn't checked by default.
