Posted: Wed Mar 05, 2008 5:36 pmI have AW 6.1 for Windows and I downloaded the update to AW 6.22 for Windows. I have been using this program happily for many years now.
I just got a new lappy with Windows XP Pro and want to install this program on it. But when ever I try to install it, I get the message that setup.exe has encountered a problem and has to close. I've tried all I know but cannot seem to over come this problem. I've even tried copying the install disk to the HDD and changing the compatibility mode of the setup.exe file. I've tried all the options, one at a time. But it gives the same results.
Anyone know a secret for installing this on my system? I realize the program requirements say Windows 95/98/Me. But the computer it's on now has XP Pro as well, and it runs fine.
