Safari and Mac OS 9.0

Postby Henry Marcus » Sun Jul 20, 2008 3:25 pm

My wife has an older iMac using OS.9.0
Internet Explorer 5 Came builtin with it but is not now functioning properly. She has a a cable connection and can not get into the internet although she does get and can answer her email. Microsoft seems to have a new problem in Internet Explorer 5 in some geographical areas. Questions:
1. Can Safari work with this system?
2. If so, how can I install it?
3. How can I update her system to the highest version
in OS. 9?

Henry, this forum is dedicated to the productivity application, AppleWorks. It is not a "catch-all" for how Apple computers work. For those type of questions the best places to start are forums for your version of the Mac OS or your model of Mac. For you I suggest the Mac OS 9 forum on Apple's Discussions site.
