Seeing Fonts

I just upgraded to Leopard and forget how to see the font listings in their actual appearance. In Appleworks I type a word and then go to the Fonts, it lists them but they're all in the same typeface. Anyone know how to fix this?

The setting is in Preferences > General > Options.
