Thank you, Barry...I am ashamed to say that it is quite possible I have been leaning on that "enter" key right next to the mouse pad. I thought I had solved the problem by cleaning out a lot of old files, but this is probably it. I am glad I couldn't instal an expensive new word processig system ..as AW seems to be working now. (Glad I found this AWUG)
