Has anyone been able to do a Mail Merge since upgrading to Snow Leopard?

I've tried 5 times today and gotten a crash each time. I've removed the preferences, twice, and repaired permissions, three times, and that doesn't help. My files still work on my G5 iMac, but not the Intel iMac.

I haven't done a Snow Leopard upgrade as yet, but I have seen elsewhere one further step that is said to solve some problems: Update Snow leopard to v10.6.3 by downloading and installing the combo updated. If you have already used the incremental updater supplied by Software Update, you can install the combo updater over it.
