Convert AW B&B Booking database to ?

Postby cabbagebnb » Tue Jan 03, 2012 3:38 am

Created a B&B booking database with receipt-invoices, annual & quarterly summaries plus other stuff for our very small B&B—30-40 bookings per year.
Presently running under Mac OS X 10.6.8 with Rosetta. No problems.
Considering upgrading to OS X 10.7...
Q1--Convert AW 6.9. DB to Bento, Filemaker, Excel or something in the Cloud?
or
Q2--Run dual operating systems and switch to Snow Leopard only when doing AW B&B booking entry & accounting?

Thanks Cabbagebnb [Chris]...

I think I'd lean toward converting to Bento or maybe even Numbers (spreadsheet) depending on how much sophistication you need.

Dual operating systems are cool and can work "OK" but they've always been a last ditch proposition for me when trying to get real work done. Too much switching back and forth even with something like Fusion. It works and is fun to play with but native always works better for me.
