Drawing capability

Postby [email protected] » Fri Jun 16, 2006 4:04 pm

As a longtime user of a PC and Windows Office programs, but a new owner of an Intel Mac with OS X, I wish to know if "Appleworks" includes the capability to do the things that Windows' "Paint" program does. If not, is there another Apple software product that does?

Thanks in advance, jdf

AppleWorks has a Paint module and a Drawing module. These provide features that exceed the very limited abilities of Windows' bundled Paint program.

You can find out more by visiting an Apple Reseller and seeing it in action, or by doing a Google search using a phrase like "appleworks drawing paint module".

Alternatives are programs like Omnigraffle (free for limited use), GraphicConverter, NeoOffice (free), Photoshop Elements, ArtRage, etc. Visit sites like VersionTracker or MacUpdate to find more examples.
