decimal tab takes several clicks to get to

Has anyone had problems with tabbing in Pages? I'm finding I have to click on the ruler several times to toggle to the correct tab type - in this case it is the decimal tab. After the first 2 or 3 types I end up click-click-click-CLICKing until finally the decimal tab shows up.

I find it easier to right- or Control-click on the tab & select the type I want from the contextual menu.
