Posted: Mon May 24, 2010 3:05 pmIs it possible to copy an Appleworks 6 spreadsheet including the embedded formulae into a Numbers spreadsheet?
All you have to do is open the AppleWorks 6 spreadsheet with Numbers & the formulas will work. Numbers '09 has a lot more formulas than '08 did, so almost all AppleWorks spreadsheets will translate seamlessly.
I've tried with simple spreadsheets & formulas don't survive copy & paste. Showing formulas in AppleWorks results in the formulas being pasted into Numbers, but Numbers doesn't seem to do anything with them.
