AWKs Clippings

Postby Mike » Sat Apr 23, 2011 6:16 am

Has anyone a suggestion as to how to move a personal collection of "Clippings' from the Clippings folder and still be able to use them in iWork?
Duplicating the file does not work.
Inserting them into 'Pages' requires transiting the 'Drawing' module of AWKs.
The latest iteration of OS 10.6 seems to bring the death of Appleworks closer and I would like to continue to use the images from the 'Clippings' file.

It shouldn't be too difficult, but it would be very time-consuming. You would have to have access to AppleWorks 6 then drag/insert each clipping as a floating, draw layer, object in a word processing document, save the WP document which you will then be able to open in Pages. You must use a word processing document. It could also be done in a spreadsheet using floating objects, but WP makes more sense.

Thank you Peggy.
It is not as time consuming as you mention, but a project for some of the wetter duller days of a Irish Summer similar to Washington State!
