Auto Calculate was ok. After up Grade must calculate multi. times for all correct answers.

Try trashing

com.apple.appleworks.plist

found in Mac HD/Users/Yourname/Library/Preferences/

AppleWorks will generate a new, clean, prefs file on its next launch.
