What is the best way to convert 6.2.9 Works databases, spreadsheets and word processing documents to formats recognizable by users of PC's?

If the PC users only need to read the documents, print them as PDF files.

Word processor files may be saved in MS Word format (most formatting saved), RTF (rich text-most TEXT formatting saved) or as Text files (keeps only the characters and paragraph separations).

Spreadsheets and DB documents may be saved as (ASCII) text. This procuces a tab delimited text file, which can be opened in Excel and in most other spreadsheets or database applications. If that's not the case with the people you're sending to, you may have to open the text file in the AppleWorks word processor, use Find/Change to replace all the tabs (\t in Find) with commas, then save the result as a text file.

Be sure to include the file extension (.doc, .rtf, .txt) as Windows requires these to recognize what application to associate the files with.
