Access to AppleWorks

Hi, Firstly as a newbie, I will introduce myself. I am Steve C Thompson.

My question is, can you convert MS Access databases to work in the database of Apple Works.

Hi Steve,

You may be able to "transfer" the data with some work. However, there is no direct conversion because AppleWorks uses a flat file database and Access is a relational database.

Thanks , looks like I may to go and use something like Filemaker.
