I finally purchased a new iMac with Leopard OX 10.5.5. My former Mac had OS 9.2. Love the new machine, but I cannot open most of my old documents even after having installed AppleWorks on it. All I get is a message "cannot execute binary file. Logout. Process completed." Good grief! I've got years of work on those old floppies and my Flash Drive. Do I have to redo all my work so that Leopard can read them? Must I save my old computer which can read the docs (all written in AppleWorks by the way)? Does Pages '08 read documents written in AppleWorks?
What hath Steve Jobs wrought?
I apologize if earlier posts have raised and answered this question. I've looked through the Forum and haven't found anything quite like my problem.
