AppleWorks Quits Unexpectedly.

Whenever I try to open AppleWorks 6.2.9, I get the following message:

THE APPLICATION APPLEWORKS QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY.
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
Click Relaunch to launch application again.
Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

When I relaunch the message re-appears.

Hi Carl,

What do you do to open AppleWorks?
What happens between the time you do that and the time the message appears?

I suspect the cause is one of:

1. Corrupted preferences
2. A corrupted font
3. Too many Recent Items.
