New Appleworks Glitch

I have been running AW in the 10.6.6 OS without problems until now. I tried to change cell sizes in a spreadsheet doc and find now that nothing can be done. When I go to format-document, nothing is shown in the size boxes. I cannot even click on a box as it ignores it. What is going on and how can I get back to my work in AW? Thanks.

For some reason I have never figured - AppleWorks in OS 10.6 gets 'messed up.' on a regular basis. Just go to User/Library/Preferences/AW/AW prefs and trash the prefs folder. Restart AW and you should be good to go.

I need to do that about once a month.
