emailing Pages newsletter

When I try to email my .pages document to another individual I get a response that it isn't a valid file. What am I doing wrong? I've used both yahoo and my .mac accounts.

For the benefit of those who didn't read your same question on Apple's Discussions:

A Pages document is not a single file but a package, essentially a folder which the e-mail program may be balking at. Create a zip archive by clicking the file to highlight it & File > Create Archive... or using the contextual menu. Then try sending it again. This will also decrease the size somewhat.
